Toastmasters Lesson from Modi's US Congress Address (8th June, 2016)

Today's Modi's US Congress address was one of the best in recent times. Here, are the lessons a toastmaster can take from his today's speech:

1. During speech if there is an applause, take a pause look into audience's eyes with same tempo and start again after the applause
2. Say it with conviction
3. Know your audience, script should relate to the audience
4. Edify yourself along with audience
5. End with humor that relates with audience and you
6. Doesn't matter one bit if English isn't your first language, you can still ace it (TM Suhash)
7. Crack a joke or two... even US Congress men like humor (TM Amogh)
8. If your audience appears tired, say Thank You and sit down. The audience will remember you throughout their lives (TM Ashutosh)
